Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be transported to your hotel to check in and after lunch the first visits will be:

  •  St. Simon the Tanner, a Coptic Orthodox Church | Famously associated with the story about the moving of the Mokattam Mountain.

You will tour the City’s leading attractions, which are:

  • Great Pyramids | Constructed over 4,500 years ago, these show the power and wealth of the pharaohs.

  • Sphinx of Giza | Believed to be a form of the Sun God and was worshiped in ancient days.

  • Egyptian Museum of Antiquities | Home to thousands of ancient artifacts including the famous treasures of Tutankhamun.

  • Church of the Holy Virgin Mary or the “Hanging Church” | A basilica built in the 4th BC on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon. There were reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary here. This is the most famous Coptic Christian church in Cairo.

  • Church of Abu Serga | Built on the cave in which Mary, Joseph and Jesus stayed when fleeing Israel. Visitors regard this church as a source of blessings. This church was dedicated to Sergius and Bacchus, soldier-saints martyred during the 4th century.

At night, feel the time of Cleopatra as you take your dinner at Nile River Cruise while being entertained with belly dancing show.

Jesus' Birthplace


This day you will visit:

  • Bethlehem | The birthplace of Jesus Christ. It is a city in the West Bank where many significant events in the Bible occurred.

  • Church of Nativity | Considered as the Holiest site in Bethlehem.

  • Shepherds Field | Identified as the scene where angels of the Lord visited the shepherds and informed them of Jesus’ birth.

  • Milk Grotto | According to tradition, Mary nursed Jesus here and spilled a drop of milk turning the ground white.

  • Mount of Olives | It is named after the olive trees which grow on its slopes.

  • Church of the Ascension | Believed to be the spot where Jesus ascended into Heaven, forty days after His resurrection.

  • Church of Pater Noster | This is where Jesus taught His disciples the Lord’s Prayer.

  • Dominus Flevit Church | This is where Jesus wept over Jerusalem as He foresaw the tragic events that would occur after His death.

  •  Garden of Gethsemane | Situated at the bottom of the Mount of Olives, this garden contains ancient olive trees.

  • Ø  Mount Zion | This is the high hill on which David built a Citadel (Psalm 48:1-2).

  • Ø  Church of All Nations (Basilica of the Agony) | It is believed to be where Jesus prayed at the night of His arrest (Matthew 26-36).

  • Ø  Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu | This commemorates the Apostle Peter’s triple denial of his Master, his immediate repentance and his reconciliation with Christ after the resurrection.

  • Ø  The Cenacle or the “Last Supper Room” | The area where Jesus and His disciples partook of the traditional Passover meal.

  • Ø  Tomb of King David | This place in Mount Zion is the traditional site of the tomb of King David.

  • Ø  Dormition Abbey | This marks the site where the Virgin Mary is said to have died or fell into “eternal sleep”.
